Each Measuring Spoon of (2.5 g) of Granules Contains:

Potassium Sodium Hydrogen Citrate                              2.4 g

- For dissolving uric acid stones
- For metaphylaxis (Prevention of recurrent formation) of calcium and uric acid stones or mixed stones made of calcium oxalate/uric acid or calcium oxalate/calcium phosphate.

For Dissolution and Metaphylaxis of Uric Acid Stones:

4 measuring spoons (= 10 g granules equivalent to 88 mmol alkali) daily divided into three doses, after meals.

The pH value of the fresh urine should be within the following pH range: For Uric acid stones: pH 6.2-6.8.

Metaphylaxis of Calcium-containing Renal Calculi:

The recommended daily dose is 2 - 3 measuring spoons (= 5 - 7.5 g granules, corresponding to 44 - 66 mmol alkali) and should be taken as a single dose in the evening.

If necessary, If the pH reading is too low, 3 - 4.5 measuring spoonfuls (= 7.5 g - 11.25 g granules equivalent to 66 mmol - 99 mmol alkali) should be taken in 2-3 doses divided over the day, after meals.

A neutral pH value should be aimed for. The pH value should not be less than 6.2 and not more than 7.4.

Store at temperature not exceeding 30 °C, in a dry place.
